Boston to Orlando is a long drive? Yes, it's long but very doable. And not scary. But what is really long, scary and seemingly impossible? How about this ladder, 3.5 stories? Now that's a long way.
Actually. No. But a friend carried lumber 16 feet long halfway up and get the end of the board into the attic window. Then I would pull the boards into the attic. Halfway through our lumber lift project it dawned on me that if I slipped and dropped a board, my friend would have been hit, knocked off the ladder, hurt, worse killed. I'm still amazed over the trust, teamwork, responsibility.
