When Bad Things Happen

Tree bark isn't always tree bark.

When bad things happen does that mean there are no blessings? Can someone be blessed and still die from cancer, or from injuries suffered in battle, from a car accident, or a work related accident? How can being homeless be a blessing? How can there be blessings when your house and all it's belongings are lost due to fire, tornado or hurricane? Really, are there any possible blessings when a parent has to bury their child?

With the same earnest desire as Rod Tidwell, when he asks, "Where's the money?" we all should be seeking, "Where's the blessings?"

The answer: They're in there. Look close.
