The magical back story: Pictured is my 35 year old flute. Took advantage of free in school lessons my junior and senior years in high school, as music coursework. Never got the opportunity to play in a band. Those two years, learned, practiced and played for myself and sometimes for patient and captive family audiences. Now a lifetime later I play for my clients. Who happily play guess the Christmas carol and sing a long.
