Success?

Would you say this cake is a success? I would and do for many reasons.

1. My middle one baked it. From scratch: the cake, the burnt caramel filling and the chocolate frosting.

2. She took over the kitchen and did her best. She cleaned up!

3. When the results didn't meet her expectations, she didn't toss the cake in the bin. Instead she pressed on.

It is delicious! Next time instead of hollowing out the cake for the filling she is planning to make it multi layered.

I bet that it tasted delicious. Sometimes, it's not the outside, but the inside that's important.
