Impressions

I love, love, love impressionistic art. It's not that I don't love other forms of art, but to take paint spatterings and have them transform into not only a recognizable picture but a thing of beauty blows me away.

Life is like Impressionistic Art. Sometimes we need to take a step back to get a better sense of the whole.

This painting, The Stone Bridge, was done by Jennifer Bowman, a local artist, and I was lucky enough to have the highest bid at last night's fund raiser silent auction. The Stone Bridge is a local landmark. Cannons, required by George Washington and his troops, were transported over this bridge.
