Wasn't it Dr. Seuss who said something to the effect of: Oh the places you will go?
These last few days before we leave for World Youth Day in Madrid I have that line running through my head. I'm going. Even with my backpack packed and ready I still can't believe that I'm actually going, just me, the mom of the house. It's not a carpool run, or a mommy taxi drive to a friend's house, or heading out to one of our numerous doctor's appointments. When I leave, I won't be back in an hour with the groceries.
Instead I'm joining 2 million younger and older Catholics on a pilgrimage: World Youth Day - Madrid 2011: Firm In the Faith.
