Many of the calves, especially the seven known as the boys, are well and able to go out into the herd. The other day, walking out by one of the pastures a calf walked towards me mooing like crazy. At first I was puzzled. Surprised to see so many youngsters outside. And then it dawned on me. They were my buddies from the barn. And this handsome dude was trotting over to say hello.
