Still, Tis The Season

As we prepare to welcome a new year we must remember that we are smack dab in the middle of the 12 days of Christmas. Only 6 more days left.

That's it, unless you keep Christmas in your heart 365 days a year. Wonder what it means to keep Christmas in your heart all year long?

Patty, there's a part of every human that would could honestly ask, "Why do we have to try to keep it in our hearts all year, why isn't it just part of who we are?"

I asked a similar question a few posts ago: Why does it take fatal disasters to jog the collective mindset that kindness is truly an option? Perhaps by carrying the love to Christmas year round there would be fewer reminders occurring.

It's hard being an adult. So much responsibility. So little time. :)
So little motivation. So much desire.
Once we figure it out though, we can become motivated by common sense and keep our priorities pretty much in balance.

Or be childlike with all faith and honor to Our Father.

As an adult, parent, I grow weary of being the responsible one. True fact. And then I realized there is still The One who is always the parent, always willing to shoulder my load. All I have to do is ask. Thank you, God.
