Just a photo today

As I think about leaving my camera home today, I'm posting a photo from years past. Can I really go without my camera? Could I not use my phone as backup? Some would ask what's the big deal? The deal is I'm never without a camera. Never.

A favorite line from a movie is, "I see dead people." For me, I see photographs. Constantly clicking off at this angle or that. Like Columbo, "Just one more shot."

Is the view of life different without a camera?

I agree with you. I eye something and see a picture in it. Don't leave the camera home, I think having it makes you pay CLOSER attention to what is going on around you. Great picture.

Patty, perhaps the reason it's hard not to have a camera is that having a camera reminds you how beautiful everything in life is. You see life through an entirely different spirit when you are a photographer. Everyone has a photographer's spirit, few carry it with them everywhere they go.
