Five Days

It's been a full five days since I exercised. Day one and two were expected. Planned for. But then the ankle twist occurred.
It's actually a very funny story. This Catholic worshipped with friends at the Congregational church Christmas Eve. On the way out, missed that last step and went down. Pictured God with His smite key... You know right pew, wrong church. Still thanked God nothing broke, but waiting for the swelling to completely subside.

Grant me patience.

Injuries are part of the devil's attempt to get us to stop. Five days into battling a shoulder injury (went to doc, have anti-inflammatory prescription) from doing a new core exercise a tourist (at the gym) showed me.

And yes, thank God your ankle isn't broken, or worse. Totally thank God.

And thank God it was your ankle and not a car accident, etc.

Jeff,
Good luck with your shoulder. Thank you for reminding me that quitting is never an option.
