More World Youth Day
We are putting together a calendar for the parish from WYD photos. Due to expense, and the fact we are giving the calendars out for free the photos have to be black and white. So I've been looking for photos that will work. I kind of like this one.

Was this originally shot in color? Did you use Photoshop for the conversion? You may be able to bring out more of those highlights and that could make all the difference in the world when printed.
I still have to swing by that antique store and see if they still have the leg lamp...
Yes it was color. And I did a quick conversion with photoshop. Any hints for better results are welcome.
hey i'm finding heaps of WYD photos on the social network xt3.com - they are holding a comp where if you upload your photos on the site, they are going to select the best ones to go in an album to give to the Holy Father. There really are some amazing shots there! I reckon that photo you have above would be a good one to submit!

I've never used Photoshop Elements, but there are ways in the full version of photoshop to make this photo pop. If you send me a full res, full size JOEG i'll paly with it for ye.
