Somehow through this world wide web, we have found each other's sites and follow each other's seasons year after year. Check out the great seasons being had by other backyard maple sugarmakers.
I love this season.
Despite below freezing temperatures, yesterday's Boston Brain Tumor Ride training ride: 12.6 miles.

Cool.
PS. Riding in below freezing temps... courageous.
Thanks for the post. We made 4 1/2 gallons this year, the most ever. With still more sap outside, stored in a snowbank, I'm not sure if I even need it! Great to hear you also had a rewarding season. Enjoy the summer, fall, and winter...see you next year!
Sounds like you had a great year! Congratulations! No sap stored here, and we're pulling the taps today... diminishing returns and all...
Our seasonal yield: 4.25 gallons.
See you next year, Yukon!
