Weekly Wrap Up

I've never had a weekly wrap up post, but these latest weeks are a whirlwind. Second week of work on my own. Second time doing the billing. I like it. It's all numbers with a very real paper trail. I also enjoy inquiring about past due invoices. Have spoken with some lovely people.

Stained glass almost ready to solder. Making progress on my knitting. But writing comes up with the big goose egg. Maybe once the stained glass is done; for sure.

House looks like a lived in bomb exploded.

Don't have the free time to lunch or walk with friends. Sadly. Still have my one client who I see on Thursdays.

Girls healthy. I'll call it all good. Despite the rain.

Your update puts the week into perspective. The impact a new job has on our routine, our priorities, our energy, our bank account, our personal organization, and on and on.

Exciting times.

New challenges. New opportunities.

Enjoy this and feel privileged. For many would love to have your challenges instead of theirs.

A reminder for all of us who live a fairly secure socioeconomic life.

Knitting over friends? Not true. But knitting can take place at 10 at night.... Not a walk with friends or lunch.

Patty, sorry, little foggy. What does your comment mean?

Good Morning Jeff. Foggy here too. I reread my post and it says I making progress on knitting but have no time for friends. Honestly can you imagine knitting when you could be walking or talking or sharing a meal with friends? I can't. But in this case, where I knit before bedtime, it's nice that I'm making some progress - a row a night.

And did have time for friends in the weekend: mediation, hiking, touching base. The work schedule shift is leading to finding new opportunities.

Patty, thanks for the clarification. Have an awesome day. I'm heading to Disney World. (again) :)
